After an Honours degree in Architecture, Mark moved into Architectural lighting design. In 1995 he started lighting design practice Sutton Vane Associates.
Sutton Vane Associates designed lighting for Europe Galleries at the V&A, The National Museums of Ireland, Scotland and Oman, The Three Gorges Museum in Chongqin China, Titanic in Belfast, Sheikh Abdullah al Salem Cultural Centre and about fifty other museums and galleries around the world. Mark Sutton Vane lit the Crown Jewels in the Tower of London.
Sutton Vane Associates has won many awards for its work.
